Pieratt Claims 2nd Place at MO State Intercollegiate

NASHVILLE — Tennessee State men's golf turned in a strong performance at the Missouri State Intercollegiate, finishing sixth overall while freshman Jackson Pieratt earned runner-up honors to lead the Tigers.

Tennessee State posted a three-round total of 32-over, improving in each round of the tournament. The Tigers opened at 15-over, followed with a 13-over second round, and closed with their best round of the event at 4-over to secure a top-six finish in a competitive field.

Pieratt delivered one of the top individual performances of the tournament, finishing second overall at 6-under. The freshman carded rounds of 68, even-par 72 and 70, consistently positioning himself near the top of the leaderboard and giving TSU a strong presence throughout the event.

Quincy Robert added a top-15 finish for the Tigers, tying for 14th at 6-over. After an opening round of 9-over, Robert rebounded with back-to-back under-par rounds of 71 and 70 to climb the leaderboard.

Aden Napier and Sampo Stahl each finished tied for 33rd at 16-over. Napier recorded rounds of 79, 79 and 74, while Stahl posted rounds of 75, 79 and 78 to round out the Tigers' scoring lineup.
