NASHVILLE — Tennessee State men's golf competed at the Southern Intercollegiate, finishing 15th overall with a two-round total of 84-over.
The Tigers posted a 52-over score in the opening round before improving by 20 strokes in the second round, carding a 32-over to close the event.
Freshman Jackson Pieratt led Tennessee State, finishing tied for 58th at 17-over. He recorded rounds of 82 and 79, showing improvement in the final round to pace the Tigers.
Sampo Stahl matched Pieratt's finish, also tying for 58th at 17-over. Stahl opened with an 84 before responding with a 77 in the second round, delivering one of the team's strongest closing rounds.
