Men's Golf Competes at the Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate

JONESBORO, Ark. — The Tennessee State men's golf team wrapped up play at the Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate on Tuesday, finishing 12th overall with a three-round total of 904 (+40) at RidgePointe Country Club.

The Tigers saved their best for last, firing a team score of 294 in Tuesday's final round — their lowest of the tournament after opening with back-to-back rounds of 305.

Senior Sampo Ståhl paced Tennessee State, carding rounds of 72, 74 and 77 to finish at 223 (+7) and tie for 34th overall in the 72-player field. Jackson Pieratt followed closely behind in a tie for 38th at 225 (+9), posting consistent rounds of 77, 74 and 74.

Luke Greig finished at 229 (+13) to tie for 53rd, highlighted by a closing-round 73. Quincy Robert surged in the final round with a 2-under 70 — the best score of the week by a Tiger — to finish at 235 (+19), while Bo Twerdahl rounded out the lineup with a 241 (+25).

Host school Arkansas State dominated the event, winning by 26 strokes at 41-under-par, led by individual champion Milan Reed, who finished at 14-under 202.
