DULUTH, Ga. — The Tennessee State men's golf team earned a third-place finish at the Bridgestone HBCU Invitational, closing the 54-hole event with a team total of +34 (299-291-308). The Tigers placed behind Florida A&M (-21) and Howard (+3), while finishing ahead of Southern and Jackson State.

The highlight of the week came from freshman Jackson Pieratt, who fired a 6-under 65 in the second round — one of the lowest scores of the tournament. Pieratt's round helped TSU record its best team performance of the week at +3 in Round 2. He finished tied for sixth individually with an even-par 216 (74-65-77).

Quincy Robert joined Pieratt inside the top 10, finishing tied for ninth at +6 (70-73-79). Sampo Ståhl (74-73-81—228, +12), Isaac Napier (75-77-78—230, +14) and Seojin Yoon (83-87-79—249, +33) rounded out the Tigers' lineup.
