NASHVILLE – Tennessee State women's basketball continues Ohio Valley Conference road play Saturday as the Lady Tigers travel to St. Charles, Missouri, to face Lindenwood at 12 p.m. inside Hyland Arena.
The matchup marks another opportunity for Tennessee State to build momentum in conference action as the Lady Tigers continue emphasizing defensive pressure, rebounding effort, and balanced contributions throughout the lineup.
LAST TIME OUT
Tennessee State is coming off a road contest at SIU-Edwardsville on Thursday night, where the Lady Tigers fell 63–41 despite strong energy from the bench and active defensive play.
The TSU bench accounted for 20 points, led by Brianna Wooldridge, who finished with 10 points and three steals. Amiyah Ferguson added eight points and two steals, while Laila Lancaster contributed two steals and two blocks in limited minutes.
Defensively, Tennessee State forced 18 turnovers and converted those takeaways into 15 points while holding SIUE to 40 percent shooting from the field. Kiki Roberts led the Lady Tigers on the glass with a team-high six rebounds.
