NASHVILLE --- In its trip back to the conference tournament after a one-year hiatus, the Tennessee State men's tennis team suffered elimination after falling to Jacksonville State Friday afternoon, 4-0.

Playing to clinch, the Gamecocks worked through the doubles matches on court two and three, winning the first point of the day. Leandros Misdrachis and Stefan Koruga were up 4-1 at No. 1 before JSU clinched. 

The Gamecocks' momentum continued into singles play, sweeping the first three finished matches, ending the tournament run for the Tigers in an hour and a half. Leandros Misdrachis fell at No. 2, 6-2, 6-1, junior Larry Sloan and sophomore Alberto Gonzalez Raton bageled the first set before losing the second, 6-1.

This wraps the season for the Tigers, closing it out with a 5-12 overall record, 0-6 OVC.
