BIRMINGHAM, Ala. --- The Tigerbelles wrapped day two of the UAB Green and Gold Invite with four top-five finishes in the final nine events of the two-day meet. 

Alysoune Coleman finished fourth of 28 competitors in the 400-meter dash crossing the finish line in 58.06. Grenetria Shell who qualified for the semifinals in the 60m hurdles, finished third with a time of 8.95, qualifying for the finals. Shell ran a 9.00 flat in the finals to place fifth. 

Mikayla Thompson marked a 15.11m performance in the weight throw to place second of 11 competitors, rounding out the women's track and field team's weekend. 

The Tigerbelles take a break from competition before heading to the Samford Invite set for Feb. 14-15 back at the Birmingham CrossPlex.
