Elaina Housworth won a pair of field events to pace the Tennessee State Tigerbelles women's indoor track and field team at the Vanderbilt Invitational.
Housworth took home first-place in a very stacked long jump events recording a 5.56m mark. Housworth followed up that performance by besting a field of 17 competitors when she posted a 12.83m mark in the triple jump.
Sanura Branigan put forth a second-place effort in the 200m dash, posting a time of 26.03, while also finishing top 5 amongst her section with an 8.05 in the 60m event.
Reyna Sawyer claimed a 14th-place finish in the 400m with a time 59.52. Sawyer took first in her section.
The Tigerbelles had a solid group effort and finished second in their section of the 4x400m with a 4:02:28 time stamp.
The Tigerbelles are back in action at the Samford Bulldog Invitational the weekend of Feb. 11-12.
