GREENSBORO, N.C. — The Tennessee State University men's golf team finished ninth at the Aggie Invitational on Monday and Tuesday.
The event was held at the Bryan Park Champions Course, a par 72, 7,264-yard champions course.
The Tigers shot a team score of 971 and finished ahead of Maryland Eastern Shore.
Individually,
Sebert Walker and
Kamren James both finished tied for 22nd. Walker jumped 11 spots in his final round on Tuesday and finished with a +22 and had his best card in the finale shooting a 75 in the third round. James shot a pair of 79s in the second and third rounds.
Mikus Ming (+31) finished tied for 43rd and also shot his lowest round (75) in Tuesday's finale jumping up six spots from the prior day.
Lane Hooper and Allan Stokes rounded out the group for Tennessee State.
