KENNESAW, Ga. — The Tennessee State University Tigerbelles had a sixth-place showing at the Kennesaw State Invitational over the weekend.
Jayda Drake Howard took fourth in the 100m hurdles in 14.38.
Emani Johnson finished eighth in the 400m hurdles in 1:04.64.
Sanura Branigan finished eighth in the 200m in 25.15. In the 400m
Reyna Sawyer finished ninth in 58.12.
In the 4x400m relay, TSU finished fourth as
Dreeanna Wade, Sawyer, Howard and Branigan ran in 3:57.81. The group also ran the 4x100m relay in 48.32 and finished sixth.
Antania Swain finished eighth in the shot put with a distance of 12.77m. Swain also took sixth in the discus throw launching at 42.54m. In the hammer throw, she placed seventh in 42.83m.
Alayna Darrett finished third in the triple jump in 10.95m. Johnson gained points in the long jump with her eighth-place finish and cleared 5.48m.
Natalya Bryant was behind her in ninth at 5.47m.
The Tigerbelles will sit idle until the Music City Challenge on April 29-30.
