SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee State women's golf team wrapped up their second event of the season as they completed their final round of the three-day 54-hole Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate on Tuesday afternoon. TSU finished in 15
th of 15 with a three-day score of 1065 (352, 344, 369). TSU was forced to play the final two rounds with two players due to injury.
Erin Marcelino led the group, finishing in 58
th place with a 246 (81, 81, 84).
Alexandra Sadler finished tied for 71
st after firing a three-day total of 257 (89, 80, 81). Sadler's 80 in round two was a tournament low for TSU.
Kalee Rhodes finished two strokes behind Sadler with a 259 (87, 87, 85) which landed her tied for 74
th.
Kennedy Bentley rounded out the Tiger lineup with a 315 (107, 96, 112), placing her in 83
rd place.
The women's golf squad will take a few weeks off, before heading to Murray, Ky., April 3-4, to compete in the Jan Weaver Invitational.
