BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Tennessee State's women's golf and women's tennis programs earned Ohio Valley Conference Team Academic Achievement Awards for the 2025-26 academic year, the league announced Tuesday.

The OVC Team Academic Achievement Awards are presented annually in each conference-sponsored sport to the member institution whose team records the highest percentage of eligible student-athletes with at least a 3.25 grade-point average during the academic year.

The honors mark the second consecutive Team Academic Achievement Award for Tennessee State women's golf after sharing the distinction in 2024-25. Women's tennis also earned its first Team Academic Achievement Award since 2022-23.

Tennessee State was one of three OVC institutions to receive multiple Team Academic Achievement Awards during the 2025-26 academic year, joining Southeast Missouri and Eastern Illinois.
