NASHVILLE - The College Sports Communicators (CSC) released its Academic All-District teams on Tuesday afternoon, and Tennessee State men's tennis had three players receive the honor.
Daniel Caraballo,
Nil Moinet, and
Pierre Copin were all named to the team CSC Academic All-District Team.

The accolade recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. Athletes must have a 3.5 GPA or higher and serve as top contributors to their team.

Daniel Caraballo – Economics and Finance – 4.0 GPA
Â
Caraballo finished the season with an 8-13 record in singles play, while he went 7-6 in doubles action. The sophomore from Madrid, Spain, logged a 4-2 Horizon League singles record.

Nil Moinet – Human Performance and Sports Sciences – 3.86 GPA
Â
Moinet finished his senior season with a 12-12 record in singles play while going 9-10 in doubles action. The junior college transfer went 5-4 in singles play in the Horizon League and 5-2 in doubles.

Pierre Copin – Arts and Sciences – 3.79 GPA
Â
Copin closed out his TSU tennis career by going 5-12 in singles action and 8-9 in doubles play. The senior from France went 3-4 in conference play and 5-2 in doubles.

The 2023 Academic All-District® Men's Tennis Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes men's tennis honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America®
honorees will be announced May 31. The CSC Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed on the following pages.
