TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Tennessee State junior Robert Hooper finished 139th in the 2024 NCAA Division I Cross Country South Regional 10K Championship at Florida State's Apalachee Regional Park on Friday morning.

Competing in his first 10K of the season, Hooper completed the race in 33:48.5, averaging a pace of 3:16.3 per kilometer.

Running as an individual, Hooper's performance did not contribute to team scoring, which was won by Alabama. The top finisher in the event was Alabama freshman Dismus Lokira, who crossed the line in 29:30.8.
