INDIANAPOLIS, IND. – The Tennessee State University men's tennis program has six student-athletes on the Horizon League Academic Honor Roll, recognizing their excellence in the classroom during the fall semester, announced by the conference on Friday morning.
To be eligible for the Horizon League Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must compete in one of the league's 19 sponsored sports, complete at least three semesters as a full-time student (or four quarters under the quarter system), and earn a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or higher as of December.
Representing TSU men's tennis on this year's honor roll are:
• Alexander Adamec, Junior, Business Management – 3.7
• Christopher Bogelin, Junior, Political Science – 3.34
• James Germinal, Sophomore, Business Marketing – 3.6
• Nicholas Adamec, Senior, Criminal Justice – 3.5
• Taj Hibbert, Senior, Business Administration – 3.9
• Tatenda Mutetwa, Senior, Business Administration – 3.37
The six honorees exemplify the program's commitment to academic achievement while competing at a high level on the court. Their success reflects the men's tennis program's emphasis on balancing athletic performance with strong academic discipline.
