NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The men's tennis team hosted a pair of OVC opponents on the weekend, dropping the first match to Eastern Kentucky, 5-0, and falling to Morehead State, 7-0, on Sunday.

Daniel Bernal started the weekend with a solid performance against the Colonel's Daridge Saidi, but was narrowly defeated, 6-3, 6-4. Bernal was even better against Morehead State in the first set but came up just short, 7-6. In the final set, frustration and fatigue caused Bernal to go down win-less, 6-0.

Kyle Burton was equally impressive in the two matches, as he was the only Tiger to win a set against the Eagles. Burton was defeated by MSU's Giovanni Samaha, 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 and was close against EKU, too (6-3, 6-2).

The Tigers will host Western Kentucky on Friday April 5, Jacksonville State on Saturday and Tennessee Tech Sunday.
