NASHVILLE --- The Tennessee State men's tennis team dropped its first match of the season to Appalachian State, 4-0 Saturday afternoon inside the Hadley Park Tennis Center. 

To kick off the afternoon, the Mountaineers swept the Tigers in doubles, one of the three clinched.

Entering singles the Tigers started to gain momentum but Appalachian State won the first three, the last three were clinched.
