STARKVILLE, Miss. --- The Tennessee State men's team traveled to Starkville to compete against Mississippi State. The Tigers competed in two matches, 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. During the early match TSU put up a fight but lost 1-6. In the afternoon the match was clinched by the Bulldogs, 4-0.
In the morning, MSU clinched the doubles point and headed into singles Stephan Koruga went three games to break the tie and won the match. But the Tigers as a whole lost the match 1-6. During the afternoon match, Mississippi State clinched the match 4-0.
UP NEXT: The Tigers will host the North Alabama Lions on Monday, Feb. 24 at noon. The match will be hosted at the Hadley Park Tennis Center.
