NASHVILLE --- The Flying Tigers have dominated in the triple jump for seasons on end thanks to rising senior R'Lazon Brumfield. With one year left in his tenure with Tennessee State, Coach Chandra Cheeseborough announced the signing of Tennessee's triple jump state champion, Rayquan Verge. 

Verge brought Watertown High School its first state championship title. In addition to his gold medal in the triple, Verge medaled in the high and long jump. 

The 5-10 jumper's personal best in the triple jump is 45-07.50 and 21-06.00 in the long jump.
