BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Mikus Ming was named the Ohio Valley Conference Co-Golfer of the Week on Wednesday afternoon after taking first place earlier this week in the 37th Annual HBCU Golf Invitational.
 
The Bermuda native paced the Tigers with a 213 for his three-day total, as TSU took home third overall in the event. Ming fired a tournament-low 67 in round one, followed by a 74 in round two and a 72 in Tuesday's final round.
 
Ming finished second in the field with 38 pars, while also finishing tied for fourth with eight birdies. Ming finished -2 on par three scoring opportunities. He was able to cut 21 strokes off the 234 he shot a week prior in the Grover Page Classic.

TSU shot 888 for their three-day total as a team. 
 
The Tigers and Ming will be back in action on October 31 and November 1, when they compete in the Zaxby's Invitational, hosted by Alabama A&M.
