Box Score STARKVILLE, Miss. – The Tennessee State men's tennis team took on an SEC opponent for the second day in a row, as they took on Mississippi State on the road in Starkville after taking on Ole Miss in a doubleheader yesterday. MSU defeated TSU 6-1.
Pierre Copin was able to pick up a point for the Tigers in the No. 6 singles as he defeated Patrick Lazo 6-2, 6-4.
MSU started off the match by winning the doubles point as they took two matches two to claim the point.

Nil Moinet lost 6-1.
In addition to Copin earning a point in singles play, Hibbert and Adamec both had strong showings in the singles portion of the match. Adamec had a strong showing in No. 4 singles as he was just edged by Gregor Ramskogler 6-2, 7-5. Hibbert fell 7-5, 6-3 in No. 5 singles to Michal Novansky, while Copin also had a close match falling 6-2, 6-4 to Lazo.
The Tigers will have a few days off before they are set to return to the court here in the Music City, as they will head across town to take on Vanderbilt on Feb. 4.
