Box Score NASHVILLE – The Tennessee State men's tennis took on their third straight SEC opponent in a row as the team traveled across town this afternoon to Vanderbilt to take on the Commodores, which is the first of three matches on tap for the Tigers this weekend. Vanderbilt came away with the 6-0 win against TSU.
The Commodores started off hot and never looked back as they won the doubles point to start the match, winning at the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles.

Taj Hibbert fell at the No. 2 doubles 6-2 to Ross/Cox, while the doubles duo of
Nil Moinet/
Pierre Copin lost 6-2 in the No. 2 singles.
Vanderbilt was able to win five of the six singles points to roll to the 6-0 win.
Daniel Caraballo had a close second set in the No. 1 singles as he was edged 6-0, 7-6. Dziopak had a strong showing in the No. 3 singles as he lost 6-3, 7-5.
Taj Hibbert played well in the No. 5 singles despite dropping his match against Ferreira 6-3, 6-4.
The Tigers will be back in action tomorrow afternoon as they are set to host Troy at the Vanderbilt Indoor tennis courts, followed by UT Southern. The matches are slated to start at 12:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
