Men's Tennis Earns 4-1 Win at Home Over Alabama A&M

Box Score NASHVILLE – Playing in front of a large crowd at Hadley Park on Thursday afternoon, the Tennessee State men's tennis team picked up their 4th win of the season as they took down Alabama A&M in a dominating 4-1 win.
 
TSU jumped out to a quick 1-0 lead as they stole the doubles point, winning at lines two and three.
 
The duo of Taj Hibbert / Daniel Caraballo laid claim to a 6-4 win at line two, while Jonasz Dziopak / Nicholas Adamec won 6-2 in the No. 3 spot. Nil Moinet / Pierre Copin were up 5-2 in the No. 1 position before TSU claimed the two-line wins to earn the point.
 
The Tigers carried the momentum into singles play, earning wins at four different lines. Dziopak had no trouble at line one winning 6-4, 6-3. Moinet breezed to a 6-1, 6-4-win at line two, while Caraballo won 6-3, 6-4 in the No. 3 spot.
 
Diego Britt-Alvarez rounded out the Tiger lineup has he earned a 7-5, 6-2 win at line six.
 
TSU will be back in action this Saturday as they are set to open up Ohio Valley Conference play against Belmont.
