NASHVILLE – The Tennessee State men's tennis program had seven players named Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar-Athletes, while the Tigers also took home All-Academic Team honors for their work in the classroom during the 2022-23 season.
The seven players that were named Scholar Athletes include:

Diego Britt-Alvarez
Daniel Caraballo
Pierre Copin
Jonasz Dziopak
Taj Hibbert
Nil Moinet
To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, student-athletes must have a grade point average of at least 3.5 for the current academic year. For the ITA All-Academic Team, teams must have a GPA of 3.2 or above for the year.
The Tigers finished the season 10-16 (6-4 Horizon). TSU advanced to the first-round of the conference tournament.
