STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. – The Tennessee State men's golf team earned a 4
th place finish out of eight teams in the Thomas W. Dortch HBCU Golf Classic. The Tigers finished with a 588 (291, 297) for their two-round total.
Cayden Chambers in 4
th place after carding a combined 141 (68, 73). Chambers' 68 marked the lowest score for TSU in the event.
Spencer McRanie earned a top-10 finish as he ended up tied for 8
th. The freshman shot a 145 (73, 72).
Jared Southerland finished within the top 20 as he carded a 149 (75, 74).
Bo Twerdahl shot a 153 (75, 78) to finish tied for 26
th, while
Isaac Napier (80, 93) closed out TSU's lineup coming in 39
th with a 173.
Chambers finished -6 on par-5 scoring opportunities.
The Tigers will be back in action on November 1-2 as they will compete in the Bridgestone HBCU Invitational hosted by the BCGCA in Duluth, Ga.
