NASHVILLE – The Tennessee State men's and women's track and field teams returned to the track this past weekend as they competed at home in the Ed Temple Classic. The Flying Tigers and Tigerbelles combined for nine first-place finishes in the one-day event.
 
The men took home five first-place finishes, led by Robert Hooper who earned the gold in both the one-mile run and the 800-meter run. The women finished with four golds on the day.
