Box Score 2 NASHVILLE – The Tennessee State men's tennis team picked up back-to-back Horizon League wins after taking down Eastern Illinois 7-0 on Friday and Southern Indiana 6-1 on Saturday. The Tigers move to 6-17 (3-1) with the two conference victories.
TSU 7, EIU 0
TSU logged its second 7-0 win of the season on Friday afternoon after taking down the Panthers at Hadley Park for Senior Day.
The Tigers notched the doubles point to start the match after earning victories at lines one and three. The duo of

Taj Hibbert secured a 6-2 win at line three to give TSU the 1-0 lead.
TSU saw four of its six matches go three sets while Hibbert (6-0, 6-1) at line three and Moinet (6-3, 6-0) at line five won in straight sets.
Daniel Caraballo secured a 7-6, 2-6, 10-7 victory in the first spot.
Jonasz Dziopak picked up a three-set win in the No. 2 spot 7-5, 3-6, 10-7. Britt-Alvarez won 2-6, 6-1, 6-2 at
No. 4, while Roubser rounded out the Tiger lineup with a 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 win at line six.
TSU 6, USI 1
The Tigers traveled to Evansville, Ind., on Saturday and defeated Southern Indiana 6-1 to move to 3-1 in the conference play.
TSU once again picked up wins at lines one and three to take the doubles point to start the match. Moinet / Britt-Alvarez cruised to a 6-1 victory in the first spot, while Hibbert / Loubser secured the doubles point with a 6-3 win at line three.
The Tigers picked up wins in spots 2-6 in singles play. Loubser finished first at line six as he rolled to a 6-1, 6-1 win. Moinet did the same at line five, winning 6-1, 6-1.
Hibbert was the next Tiger to finish as he won 6-3, 6-3 at No. 4, followed by Dziopak who won 6-4, 6-0 at line two. Caraballo won 6-0, 1-6, 10-8 at No. 1, while Britt-Alvarez closed out the match with a 7-5, 5-7, 10-5 win.
TSU will return to the court tomorrow afternoon as they will host Georgia for a 4:00 p.m. match at Hadley Park.
