TUNICA, Miss. — Tennessee State's women's golf team fell one spot to eighth place out of nine teams after the second round of the Ohio Valley Conference tournament on Tuesday. The Tigers replicated their first-round score of 334, resulting in a two-day total of 668 strokes.
Erin Marcelino once again led the charge for TSU after carding an 82 in the second round, bringing her total score to 160 placing her in 18th.
Lucia Pantigozo and Trixie Sabulao logged scores of 80 and 85, respectively, in the second round, landing them in a tie for 27th place with a total of 166 strokes each. TaLese Vaughn rounded off TSU's performance with a second-round score of 87, accumulating a total of 176 strokes which puts her in 71st after 36 holes.
TSU will close out the three-day event with the final 18 holes tomorrow.
