The Tennessee State men's tennis team put up a strong fight on the road against Chattanooga but ultimately fell 7-0 to the Mocs. 

Doubles Play

TSU came out looking to gain momentum in doubles action but was met with tough opposition. The No. 1 pairing of Taj Hibbert and Rohan Loubser fell 6-2 to Chattanooga's Gabriel Castillo and Jakub Jupa. At No. 3, Tatenda Mutetwa and Alexander Adamec fought hard but came up just short in a 7-5 loss. The No. 2 match featuring James Adler Germinal and Jonasz Dziopak was left unfinished with the TSU duo leading 6-5.

Singles Play

In singles, the Tigers saw several close battles, with two matches extending to three sets. At the No. 2 spot, Hibbert claimed the first set 7-5 before narrowly falling in a second-set tiebreak and dropping the final set 10-6 in a hard-fought battle. Loubser also showed his resilience at No. 3, bouncing back in the second set but ultimately falling 6-2, 1-6, 6-4.

James Adler Germinal battled in a tight first set at No. 4, pushing his opponent to a tiebreak before falling 7-6, 6-3. Dziopak, Adamec and Christopher Bogelin each fought through competitive sets but were unable to break through against Chattanooga's experienced lineup.
