9/2/2025 10:00:00 AM

DULUTH, Ga. – Tennessee State Men's Golf opens the 2025–26 season at the third annual Bridgestone HBCU Invitational, beginning Wednesday, September 3, at TPC Sugarloaf. Director of Men's & Women's Golf Parrish McGrath leads the Tigers as they begin their fall campaign at one of the premier events for HBCU programs.

The 54-hole tournament is part of the Bridgestone Collegiate Development Program under the PGA TOUR's Pathway to Progression, designed to enhance diversity in golf by providing elite-level competition for athletes from historically underrepresented backgrounds.

The event will conclude on Thursday, September 4, with the crowning of the men's and women's team champions, who will earn a berth to the HBCU Performance Experience at TPC Sawgrass, Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.

TSU's men's squad will compete against nine other HBCU teams, including Florida A&M, Howard, Jackson State, Johnson C. Smith, LeMoyne-Owen, Miles College, Morehouse, Southern, and Winston-Salem State.
